- Why did you decide to join Art of Flight Golf?
I was constantly going down a rabbit hole, watching endless youtube videos on how to improve my golf game. However, I would only find myself more frustrated with the inconsistencies after every round. One round, I would play pretty well, and the next, it would appear that it was my first time on the course. I decided it was time to have a professional evaluate my fitness level and analyze my golf game to develop a fitness plan that would have me in the best physical shape and allow me to maximize my potential on the golf course.
- How did Art of Flight Golf help your golf game?
From day one, I knew I had made the right decision to join AOFG, and my only regret was why did I wait so long. I’ve been a part of the program for the past 5 months, consistently working out 2-3 times a week and using the facility after hours to continue to work on my game. I’ve noticed a considerable improvement in my flexibility and overall fitness in a few short months. I’ve also noticed an improvement in my game each time I play a round. Chris does a fantastic job working with clients to maximize their potential and understands that not everyone is the same. I’ve also learned how to properly approach the game, starting with a proper warmup, shot routine, and course strategy. Talking with Chris and other members really makes a difference because I may pick up something from watching them, or they may watch you and see something that you don’t while offering advice on how to improve.
- What would you say to a friend that is considering joining?
If you’re serious about your game and/or improving your fitness, there’s no reason not to join and maximize your results. Having the Trackman bays is very helpful to see your progress and work on your game.
- Anything else you would like to add about your experience at Art of Flight Golf?
I feel extremely fortunate to have a facility like AOFG within minutes of my house. This is a state-of-the-art facility that is committed to helping everyone improve their golf game and fitness as long as you’re willing to put in the hard work and dedication. Chris really does a great job of not focusing on the golf swing you want but on the golf swing you have and how you can improve your fitness and biomechanics to achieve optimal results. If you want to go even further, AOFG offers lessons that I recommend to complement the golf fitness program. The past few months at AOFG have been an incredible experience, and I can’t wait to see where I am 6 months from now. Do something different and get out of your comfort zone. You’ll be amazed at what your body and mind can accomplish if you put in the work!
